Former “Tonight Show” host Jay Leno was injured in a motorcycle accident last week, which has left him with multiple broken bones.

Speaking with the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Leno says he was knocked off his motorcycle on January 17th in an accident that saw him break a collarbone, two ribs and cracked both of his kneecaps according to the report.

The accident comes just two months after he was seriously burned in a gas fire in his L.A. garage. Leno makes sure to say, after talking about his new injuries: “I’m OK! I’m OK, I’m working. I’m working this weekend.”

Leno then revealed how he sustained the new injuries. He was working on a vintage motorcycle and was testing it out when he noticed the smell of leaking gas:

“So I turned down a side street and cut through a parking lot, and unbeknownst to me, some guy had a wire strung across the parking lot but with no flag hanging from it. So, you know, I didn’t see it until it was too late. It just clotheslined me and, boom, knocked me off the bike.”

In November, Leno scored “deep second-degree and third-degree burns” after a vintage 1907 steam engine car he was working on in his Burbank garage caught fire.

He required skin graft surgeries to his face, chest and hands, according to his doctor. Leno has been in preparation for a scheduled late March performance at the Wynn Las Vegas.
