HBO has set a March 26th launch date and released the teaser trailer for the fourth season of its popular and critically acclaimed series “Succession”.

The new run looks to be arriving to fill the hole that will be left in the network’s schedule once “The Last of Us” wraps its run in mid-March. “Succession” has won the Emmy for Best Drama three times in a row – can they make it a fourth?

In the new season, the sale of media conglomerate Waystar Royco to tech visionary Lukas Matsson moves closer and the prospect of this sale provokes existential angst and familial division among the Roys as they anticipate what their lives will look like once the deal is complete.

A power struggle ensues as the family weighs up a future where their cultural and political weight is severely curtailed. Brian Cox, Jeremy Strong, Sarah Snook, Kieran Culkin, and Alan Ruck all return to reprise their roles as the Roy family.

Other cast members include Matthew Macfadyen, Alexander Skarsgård, Cherry Jones, Hope Davis, Justin Kirk, Stephen Root, Nicholas Braun, J. Smith-Cameron, Peter Friedman, David Rasche, Fisher Stevens and Hiam Abbass.

Also back are Harriet Walter, James Cromwell, Natalie Gold, Caitlin Fitzgerald, Ashley Zukerman, Larry Pine, Mark-Linn Baker, Pip Torrens, Justine Lupe, Dagmara Domińczyk, Arian Moayed, Scott Nicholson, Zoë Winters, Annabelle Dexter-Jones, Juliana Canfield, and Jeannie Berlin.

Finally, new cast members for the new season include Annabeth Gish, Adam Godley, Eili Harboe, and Jóhannes Haukur Johannesson.
