Filming has officially wrapped on the upcoming “Star Wars: Skeleton Crew” series for the Disney+ service.

The show’s stunt coordinator George Cottle shared a video on Instagram celebrating the moment, but the posting was subsequently deleted – but not before the internet caught it.

According to Deadline, the post caption read: “That’s a Wrap on Skeleton Crew!! Once again I was lucky enough to be surrounded by some of the most amazing stunt performers I have ever worked with!! I fell so lucky to work with you all! Thank you for all your hard work and dedication! So so excited for this one!”.

Stunt actor Juliana Potter also reportedly shared on her Instagram Stories a message after wrapping, saying, “Going to miss my Star Wars: Skeleton Crew stunt family. So grateful. Can’t wait for the world to see what’s in store.”

Announced in May 2022 with Jude Law leading the cast, from what little is known about the series, it essentially sounds like the franchise’s version of “Star Trek: Prodigy” albeit in live-action/

The story follows “a group of kids who are about ten years old who get lost in the Star Wars universe”. However, it’s been advised that despite the young leads, “it’s not a kid’s show”.

The series hails from Jon Watts, director of the Tom Holland-led “Spider-Man” trilogy, and writer Christopher Ford. Events unfold in the same time period as “The Mandalorian” – namely several years after “Return of the Jedi”.

Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni are also attached as executive producers, with the show set to air sometime later this year.
