January 23rd’s Wordle answer contains three vowels in different positions, and one of them repeats. Here’s how players can solve it using hints.
January 23rd’s Wordle answer is available for players to attempt, and while it is a prevalent word used in the daily lexicon, it might be difficult to solve it. The key to solving today’s Wordle answer is using words that feature a vowel in the very first position. It is also worth mentioning that the solution has two more vowels in the spelling, which can complicate solving today’s puzzle. However, if players find themselves wasting attempts on random guesses, they might want to use a different mode.
Veteran players prefer to use Wordle’s hard mode as it forces them to strategize their attempts with words that feature confirmed letters in the same spot. Even though this mode is more time-consuming, it benefits players as it lets them develop strategies they wouldn’t usually use in the regular mode. However, some players might find themselves stuck on their last few attempts due to the stringent rules and the complicated mode. In this situation, it would be prudent to use contextual hints that give a better idea about the answer:
Today’s Wordle Hints (January 23rd #583)

These clues might be enough for most players to guess the correct answer and continue their daily streaks. However, in case they can’t solve the solution with the three hints, they can solve today’s Wordle answer with the actual answer:
escape from or avoid a sticky situation
to not be caught by someone
The answer to your question _____ me. (Fill in the blank)
Today’s Wordle Answer (January 23rd #583)
The January 23rd Wordle answer is ELUDE.
To solve today’s Wordle answer, players will want to use a word with a vowel in the very first position. The first word we used, EAGER, revealed the solution had a repeating vowel, albeit one of them was not in the correct spot. The next word, EARLY, revealed another letter’s incorrect position, which made solving the answer a bit difficult. In our third attempt, we used the word EXUDE, which luckily revealed the correct position of four letters. Finally, after knowing the missing letter’s correct position, we solved today’s Wordle answer with ELUDE.

- Wordle is a web-based word-guessing game developed by Josh Wardle that took the world by storm in 2021. Players are given a five-letter word to guess and have six attempts to get the word correct. When they get a letter correct, it will mark itself as green if it’s in the correct position and yellow if it is the correct letter in the wrong position. A yellow letter also means that letter could appear more than once. Wordle was purchased by The New York Times Company in 2022 and added to their website and app, keeping the core game free to play as promised – with additional words and other bonuses available through subscription, and is available via browser, iOS, and Android.
