FX has announced that its highly acclaimed series “The Bear” is set to return early this summer, with the second season jumping from eight to ten episodes. An exact date launch date will be revealed at a later time.

Criminal Minds: Evolution
Paramount+ has picked up the “Criminal Minds: Evolution” revival for a second season, the order coming through just as the back half of the ten-episode first season resumed last night and runs through to February 9th. Paramount+ says the series is one of its top five original shows and has driven increased viewership for the original as well. [Source: THR]
Dark Winds
Nicholas Logan (“The Inspection”) and Jeri Ryan (“Star Trek: Picard”) have joined the cast of AMC’s western noir thriller series “Dark Winds” based on Tony Hillerman’s Leaphorn & Chee book series and starring Zahn McClarnon and Kiowa Gordon. The project hails from creator Graham Roland and executive producers George R.R. Martin and Robert Redford.
Set in 1971 on a remote outpost of the Navajo Nation near Monument Valley, McClarnon plays Lt. Joe Leaphorn of the Tribal Police as he is besieged by a series of seemingly unrelated crimes. Logan plays a twisted assassin named Colton Wolf. Ryan portrays femme fatale Rosemary Vines, who has left a trail of bodies in her wake. [Source: Deadline]
My Dad The Bounty Hunter
Netflix Animation has released the trailer for the first season of the animated action-comedy series “My Dad The Bounty Hunter”. Everett Downing and Patrick Harpin are the showrunners, while the voice cast includes Laz Alonso, Yvonne Orji, Priah Ferguson, Yvette Nicole Brown, Rob Riggle, Jim Rash, and Jamie Chung.
The story follows close-knit siblings Lisa and Sean, who stow away on their dad’s latest work trip. Little do they know Dad’s been keeping a secret from them – he’s actually the toughest bounty hunter in the galaxy. The ten-episode series premieres on Netflix on February 9th.
Wolf Pack
Paramount+ has premiered the trailer for Jeff Davis’ supernatural teen drama series “Wolf Pack” premiering on January 26th. Sarah Michelle Gellar, Rodrigo Santoro, Armani Jackson, Bella Shepard, Chloe Rose Robertson and Tyler Lawrence Gray star.
Based on the book series by Edo Van Belkom, the story follows four teenagers connected by separate attacks by a terrifying supernatural creature awakened by California wildfires. As the full moon rises, all four teens unite to unravel the secret that connects them.
The Flash
The CW has released a new poster for the upcoming ninth and final season of “The Flash”, which kicks off February 8th on The CW. The thirteen-episode final run is currently in production and will wrap filming in March ahead of an airing likely sometime in May and June.
