MGM+, the new name for the channel and SVOD service formerly known as Epix, unveiled its programming lineup and development slate as part of the Television Critics Association press tour yesterday.

The rebranded premium channel and streaming service will launch on January 15th, timed with the the season three premiere of “Godfather of Harlem” starring and executive produced by Forest Whitaker.

They also announced that they have renewed both “Peaky Blinders” creator Steven Knight’s wartime drama “Rogue Heroes” and “Vikings” creator Michael Hirst’s western adventure series “Billy the Kid” for second seasons. The new run of ‘Rogue’ will commence production later this year ahead of a 2024 airing.

Next they announced the sci-fi horror series “From” will return with its second season airing from April 23rd, whilst the Guy Pearce and Damian Lewis-led six-episode limited series “A Spy Among Friends” launches on March 12th.
