Marvel Studios has premiered the full-length trailer and new poster for “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania,” the upcoming third ‘Ant-Man’ film which serves as the first of Marvel’s Phase Five features.
In the film, superhero partners Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) return to continue their adventures as Ant-Man and The Wasp.
Together, with Hope’s parents Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer), the family finds themselves exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures, and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought was possible.
But they aren’t alone there, and someone has sinister plans for them. The film marks the debut of iconic Marvel Comics bad guy Kang the Conqueror, played by Jonathan Majors. Majors previously appeared as ‘He Who Remains’ in the season finale of “Loki” which revealed Kang to be one of the variants of his character.
The new trailer shows off more of Kang and his methods along with some great Easter Eggs including an appearance from MODOK. He will serve as the major antagonist of Marvel’s current Multiverse Saga in the way Thanos was with the ‘Infinity Saga’. Peyton Reed returns to direct the new film which also stars David Dastmalchian, William Jackson Harper, Katy O’Brian and Bill Murray as Lord Krylar who is governor of a rather lavish community within the Quantum Realm.
“Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” is currently set for a February 17th 2023 theatrical release.
