Marvel Studios’ “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” is due out in a little over a month, but new photos indicate that the project is undergoing a little bit of additional photography.

Paul-Rudd.com among others have posted some photos from the Los Angeles set of the film where pick up shots reportedly took place this past Friday with Rudd’s Scott Lang character outside of the Bridge Donuts shop.

The scene itself appeared in the first trailer for the film, suggesting the scene – which doesn’t appear to involve any visual effects and takes place in the real world as opposed to the Quantum Realm – is getting some sort of a revision.

Additional photography on Marvel Studios films are a given, and the studio has famously been seen doing the odd bit of additional filming fairly close to a film’s release. Thus this isn’t a surprise per se – though the closeness to the release date does understandably raise an eyebrow or two.

The new film kicks off what’s dubbed ‘Phase 5′ of the MCU as well as introducing Jonathan Majors’ Kang the Conqueror character. In it Scott Lang and Hope van Dyne, along with Hope’s parents Hank Pym and Janet van Dyne and Lang’s daughter Cassie, go on a new adventure exploring the Quantum Realm that pushes their limits.

“Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” arrives in theaters on February 17th. Fandango recently confirmed the film clocks in at a runtime of 125 minutes.
