Disney+ has premiered new character posters and a new TV spot from the second season of the animated series “Star Wars: The Bad Batch”, which returns with sixteen new episodes on January 4th.
The posters highlight Hunter, Echo, Tech, Wrecker and Omega’s looks in the new season – the gang are all members of Clone Force 99 (the eponymous Bad Batch).
The series follows the elite and experimental clones of the Bad Batch as they find their way in a rapidly changing galaxy in the immediate aftermath of the Clone War.
Members of Bad Batch – a unique squad of clones who vary genetically from their brothers in the Clone Army – each possess a singular, exceptional skill that makes them extraordinarily effective soldiers and a formidable crew.
The voice cast includes Dee Bradley Baker, Michelle Ang, Rhea Perlman, and Noshir Dalal, whilst Emmy winner Wanda Sykes guest stars in the new season as Phee Genoa.
The series hails from executive producer Dave Filoni with Athena Portillo, Brad Rau, Jennifer Corbett, and Carrie Beck also executive producing. The new season will kick off with two episodes on January 4th, then run weekly until the double episode finale on March 29th.
