Netflix has set a March 4th 2023, 10pm US-ET date and time for Chris Rock’s forthcoming comedy event “Chris Rock: Selective Outrage” which will officially be streaming live.
The project marks Netflix’s first-ever live comedy special, which will have the veteran comedian performing in Baltimore. It’s not clear whether or not Rock will use the special to finally address the controversial 2022 Oscars slap involving him and Will Smith.
It also marks Rock’s second collaboration with Netflix following “Chris Rock: Tamborine,” his first stand-up special with the streamer five years ago. The first teaser for the special is also available below.
Netflix is continuing to build out its live comedy offerings with “Netflix is a Joke: The Festival” being the biggest live, in-person event in Netflix history earlier this year, with more than 260,000 tickets sold.
