FX has premiered the teaser for the sixth and final season of its acclaimed John Singleton-created crime drama “Snowfall”. The clip is essentially a specially made-teaser with no real new footage.
The series follows young drug kingpin Franklin Saint as he deals with both the ever-present authorities aiming to take him down and the drama going on within his own family.
In the new season Franklin, on his own accord, has left the game but at the cost of his money being hijacked by Teddy, and now Louie and Jerome have officially cut ties with him.
He now has to make friends and allies with those who tried to kill him and those who do not share America’s interest, while fully proving he isn’t done with the game.
Meanwhile, Teddy’s plans are derailed when the woman he loves is kidnapped and Avi is killed. As for Gustavo, he is now in the custody of the DEA just as he was prepared to skip town.
The stacked cast is led by Damson Idris alongside Carter Hudson, Emily Rios, Sergio Peris-Mencheta, Michael Hyatt, and Amin Joseph. Eric Amadio and Dave Andron co-created the series, with Andron serving as showrunner.
The final season of “Snowfall” debuts on FX on February 22nd 2023.
