Netflix has released the trailer for “That ’90s Show,” the sequel to FOX’s long-running sitcom “That ’70s Show”.

The series sees original cast members Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp reprising their roles in a show set in 1995. In the series, Leia Forman (Callie Haverda) arrives in Point Place to visit her grandparents, Red (Smith) and Kitty (Rupp). There she meets the dynamic and rebellious Gwen (Ashley Aufderheide).

With the help of Gwen’s friends, including her lovable brother Nate (Maxwell Donovan), his smart, laser-focused girlfriend Nikki (Sam Morelos), the sarcastic and insightful Ozzie (Reyn Doi), and the charming Jay (Mace Coronel), Leia realizes adventure could happen there just like it did for her parents all those years ago.

Excited to reinvent herself, she convinces her parents to let her stay for the summer. With a basement full of teens again, Kitty is happy the Forman house is now a home for a new generation and Red is, well… Red.

Original stars Topher Grace, Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher, Laura Prepon and Wilmer Valderrama make guest appearances in the sequel series and can be glimpsed in the trailer. The series was created by Gregg Mettler, Bonnie Turner, Terry Turner and Lindsey Turner.

One change from the original is the entire series unfolds across the summer vacation period. Should it be renewed, then the new series will incorporate time jumps between each season. “That ’90s Show” premieres January 19th on Netflix.
