The Disney+ service has premiered a new thirty-second promo trailer teasing some of its upcoming early 2023 titles.
The clip boasts a first look at footage from the second season of “Loki” as Tom Hiddleston, and Owen Wilson return in new scenes, with Hiddleston actually narrating the whole clip.
There’s also a brief glimpse of Rosario Dawson in the first clip from “Star Wars: Ahsoka,” and the first footage from David Lowery’s “Peter Pan and Wendy” film, which adapts Disney’s old animated classic “Peter Pan” into live-action.
There’s also new footage from shows that have already had trailers before, including the third season of “The Mandalorian” on March 1st, and Marvel’s “Secret Invasion” limited series which is due sometime early next year.
Next comes the first look at Pixar’s first TV series “Win or Lose” and brief clips from the new “Up”-inspired short “Dug Days: Carl’s Date,” and a tease of the streaming debut of “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”. Much briefer are new looks at Disney originals like “American Born Chinese” and “Crater”.
Disney is coming off its critically acclaimed “Star Wars: Andor” series, the recently launched “Willow” sequel series, and the just premiered “National Treasure: Edge of History” series. Titles not shown here but known to be coming next year include Marvel’s “Echo,” “Ironheart,” and “Agatha: Coven of Chaos” along with “Star Wars: Skeleton Crew” and the animated “X-Men ’97”.
